There was a song popular years ago (and I mean years) when I was a youth minister. It was entitled 'Eye of the Tiger'. It became a mantra for people we hired or didn't hire-did they have the 'eye of the tiger'? In other words, were they focused? Was their purpose to achieve and succeed no matter the conditions or cost?
The same is true today. With all that's going on, each one of us has to decide that no matter what, we have the eye of the tiger. We will finish. We will finish strong. Nothing will keep us from fulfilling what our dreams are.
Here is a recent video I watched and it reminded me to keep going, keep the dreams alive, keep the eye of the tiger. If you have 3 minutes, watch it. Be encouraged. And if you have speakers and want to listen to the song, turn it up (or off if you prefer). Click here to see it.
Personally, I want to remain focused. To finish the race. To be able to say, "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith".
