A long, long time ago when I was but a mere child and had some hair left, I graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a PhD in Psychology. One of the requirements was to write a dissertation (the only book I have published). My research was in the area of men who abuse their spouses. Specifically the dissertation was entitled, The Personality Characteristics of Abusive Males. I won't bore you with the results but suffice is to say they didn't ask me to take the stand for OJ two years after I wrote about the results.
That was several years ago, and all kidding aside, the relationship between husbands and wives is still very much a special relationship that endures both the good and the bad. As some of you know, Cindy Beall is my assistant. She has a first hand experience of how tough times can be in a marriage when unfaithfulness creeps in. Chris and Cindy are a wonderful, Godly couple who love the Lord and have set an example for others with their openness about this invasion that occurred within their marriage some six years ago. This invasion, if you will, almost destroyed them. Despite what Satan had in mind, God had something better and as a result Cindy has written a book (in hopes of publication) about those tough days and how God worked in her and Chris' life. She has a blog (view here) and has been sharing their story and will conclude on Friday with these posts. I would encourage you to first read her latest entries and then forward it to others who may need her encouragement.
